We are hiring for the role of Solution Architect with an MNC IT Company.
To support the sales organization in building and maintaining an active customer base and
developing new sales opportunities through the design and delivery of highly customized multitechnology
May specialize in one vendor or support multiple technologies
Must be available to travel in the field, to help our resellers understand the inter-workings of
today's complex technologies
Provide technical solutions expertise to customers and their end users in a consultative sales
Co-own and project manage the technical elements of sales opportunities to successful closure.
Engage with end users and resellers to help define appropriate multi-technology solutions to
meet customer needs.
Support internal and external sales teams to deliver technical quotes in line with defined service
level agreements (SLAs).
Maintain new and current technical expertise across many technologies, such as data center,
virtualization, security, mobility, unified communication, and cloud solutions
Develop and manage customer relationships with appropriate contacts.
Conduct customer site visits (reseller and end user).
Deliver sales and technical enablement training internally to Tech Data sales teams or externally
to the reseller base
Respond to queries or customer care issues in a timely manner.
Communicate product and technology information to the relevant audience
Deal with daily product/solution enquiries from internal/external sales and resellers.
Utilize the Business Solution Centre (BSC) to support sales activity and improve partner
Provide internal and external technical presentations and training
Work with sales to identify new or existing customers for specific technologies
Assist in determining developmental needs of other technical resources and provide training
and/or mentoring as required
Performs additional duties as assigned

Knowledge Skills and Experience:
High end certifications in 3 of: Virtualization, Storage, Cloud, Networking, Servers Specific
certifications in VMWare/Microsoft; Cisco/HP/IBM; SAN, Networking, Data Center
Must have minimum 5 years of experience in similar role/s / Industry such design/deploy cloud
Minimum of (1) year experience in formal product presentations and/or technical sales training
Must have experience in handling Azure / Office 365 product / solution / technology or any other
competitive solution products
Minimum of (5) years technical support experience with PC's, high-end servers, local area
networks, and associated components with at least1-2 year in Cloud Computing environments
Minimum of (1) year vendor relations experience in a presales vendor support role
Knowledge of the interoperability of various PC components, software, peripherals, networking,
desktop platforms, applications, standalone and network operating systems, with strong technical
abilities in Designing complex Cloud Computing solutions across IaaS, PaaS, SaaS,etc.
